Blocks the light really, really well. There are so many suction cups and so many Velcro points available that it’s very easy to customize the fit to the window you are trying to block. The suction cups have very strong adhesion, none fell down in the 5 days we used the shades. Packs down easily into the supplied carrying case. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

I needed some temporary curtain/shades while I decided what I wanted permanently for a new home. These curtains worked so well I’m thinking about keeping them up long term. The suction cups keep the shades securely in place to allow privacy at night while also allowing me the option to completely remove them during the day. Also, if you’re looking for the “blackout” feature they are terrific for that as well. Completely blocks out a neighbor’s motion security light at night. Highly recommend.

The curtain kept coming down in my kids’ room, so I thought this would be a good alternative since they really need it dark at night. The suction cups hold really well, sometimes too well and I need to get a nail under there to unstick from the glass. It really keeps it dark. The only thing is the suction cups sometimes come out of the holes of the fabric and it’s a bit of a pain to get it back in but it’s doable.

Just started working night shifts. Thought I could sleep through the daylight... I was wrong. My windows are a bit recessed, I only needed to use one panel horizontally to fit in the window. Wish the velcro was a bit closer together, I needed to use Safety pins on the shorter sides. Velcro worked fine on the long sides. No issues with the suction cups, I cleaned the window and wet the cups to get a solid stick. It isn't pretty, but when paired with drapes that go beyond the window frame, there's 0 light seepage. It's fully daylight outside in both photos. And even without the drapes, this product alone made the room exponentially darker with ambient light seepage, no rays of light coming through. 100% would buy again.

I was looking for an item to blackout my son's nursery. We have tried blackout curtains, but have found that light still peeks through. My son likes to sleep in a very dark room, so we were needing something more. These shades work great! I like that they come with suction cups, so if you want to adjust them or take them with you... it is very easy. We have taken them with us on trips and to other houses when he is going to be taking a nap outside the nursery. It is so nice to know we can create a good napping environment on the go! The material seems sturdy and I can foresee this product being useable for some time. Make sure you measure your window, before using these, to make sure they fit accordingly. Would recommend and purchase again.

First Off, this arrived in the travel case smelling HORRIBLE. We had to air our the entire room after putting it up, so if we were in a hotel room with this and windows couldn't open it would have been brutal. Almost smelled like fish- hard to pin point, but just very powerful and awful. I would recommend washing before use as a result. Some suction cups are mangled up pretty bad from how they are packaged by manufacturer. Those suction cups don't stick, BUT luckily there are enough other ones the device is up and has not fallen for us in last month. For the price I think it's good.
