Along cut edges are "dirty" looking (brownish yellow)! I believe this is from the cutting blade (possibly an oil?). Not attractive looking at all. Frankly gross. I purchased the 2" version, and sad to say it is far too thin to be of much real use. I can actually pinch, without any effort at all, the 2" down to less than 1/4" with two fingers. Sitting or laying on the topper results in it mashing down to this same/similar 1/4". Since it is compressed to 1/8 of its original size all of the time (easily) while in use it does not actually "pad" anything at all. In fact, I would say that laying on a comforter has the exact same effect as this topper. The ONLY difference is that any material exposed that does not have ANY weight on it at all is 1-3/4" higher. You actually just have a divot in the bed where you are laying. This may have the effect of reducing anyone from tossing and turning-but certainly not providing any comfort in my experience. I did not notice any significant lavender smell, for those that this matters to. You will need two (or a 4" product) to achieve any amount of padding in my estimation. This is VERY soft, and very similar to a mattress at the mattress store except that they are 12-14" thick. It makes a world of difference, that thickness.

I’ve slept on this pink mattress for a couple months now. It’s very cozy and comfortable. I don’t notice the light rose scent until I take the sheets off weekly to wash them. I like it.

Guys, the scent is kinda gross. I would have preferred a regular topper, but this one was on sale and available for next-day delivery. The rose smell is very strong at first, and I’m having to wash my pajamas after one night because they smell so strong of it (even with sheets on top). I’m setting the pad outside during the day hoping to air out some of the smell. Just be warned!

Product definitely stays warm, almost sweating if covered up. As thick as the measurement states but laying down on it says otherwise but used as a topper anyways so it may the mattresse we lay on a lot softer. It's kept the lavender smell a quite sometime too but fades of the purple as the scent does too.

For under a king sized 2"thick memory foam topper that's under 40 bucks is well worth the money. The scent they add to it sucks, but it goes away in a few days.

Comfortable but the smell is really intense and the whole apartment smells like it even though it’s rolled up in the closet.

I bought this for my visiting son to put on top of the horrible futon mattress he was using. It was too big for the futon, so he folded it in half and has been sleeping on his "4 inch memory foam mattress" comfortably ever since.
