So the prices for everything have gotten ridiculous. These sponges are as good as those similar ones 2x the price in my grocery store. These are your basic scrubby sponge. They hold us just as well as most and better then some that I've bought so try them. Would have never thought to buy kitchen sponges on Amazon but I was annoyed about paying $1 or more for one basic no frills kitchen sponge from a branded name. These Amazon basic sponges are a must buy! Such a great value for a 6 pack. They are soft, thick, and premoistened. The size and quality are comparable to "big sponge" brands. They are not scratchy or rough at all.

These are fairly cheap, no doubt. If they were as good at scrubbing tough stuff as that major brand I’d be very happy. Especially if they lasted a similar amount of time. Isn’t that the point of generics? To get a similar product at less money than name brand. Usually Amazon is great with this, but these fall short. They are fairly lightweight by comparison to name brand. They lack the same scrubbing ability, say 60-70% as capable. They don’t last but maybe half as long per sponge. So, in other words they are simply not cost effective. I hope they bring out a “new and improved” version soon as I am a fan of the AB line. For now I’ll stick to bulk packs of the name brand to keep costs down. ... show more

These are cheap and great to use on things like chinchillas cage or scrubbing something nasty. Use it once and toss it without breaking the bank. I am no fan of creating waste, but for these situations it's the cheapest solution for me.

These work very very well and can go through a lot of wear and tear before needing to be replaced! They are VERY durable and can be used on all types of surfaces for an almost effortless clean!
