These towels from Amazon Basics are pretty nice. When I first handled them, they felt thin and, frankly, I wasn't impressed. However, once I washed and dried them, they really filled out to become thick and fairly soft. Much better! These aren't the softest towels, we have, though they perform better than those other towels when it comes to absorption, drying me off better after a shower. These towels come in at $11.50 per set at the time of this review, a bit of a discount from name brand but on par with (or a little higher than) store brands. It's nice that they're organic cotton, which is a step up from generic offerings. They're supposed to be washed warm and dried low. I mention that since the default setting on our washer and dryer work for the former but not for the latter, which defaults to high heat for towels. With the first wash, they let out a lot of lint. I would consider ordering more sets in the future, though I'd like to see more color options, such as a moss or pine green or a navy blue. That's just a preference, though, and not a reflection on the quality of the towels. Overall, this is a nice set of towels at a good price.

These are great quality towels, constructed (see pics) well, the proper size, shaped well, and awesome toweling that works well for its purpose. These are not high-end, fluffy, oversized towels, they are the towels for your kids bathroom or any place where you are going to need a long-lasting, well-constructed, standard, hard working towel. For the price, I expected much less. I am blown away with the value these provide. Also, so importantly, there was NO ODOR upon opening the package, which means they didn't come from some chemical-infested or smelly place. I washed immediately and pulled out the exact same towels that I put into the laundry - same size, same quality, nothing unraveled, no lose strings, color the same ... ready to go. The Amazon Basics Fade Resistant Bath, Hand and Washcloth Towel Set is a fantastic value. The description says "Organic cotton;" however, these are not made from organic cotton. That is misleading, unfortunately. The towel quality is excellent. The seams are sewn well. The towels are durable. They wash and dry well. The cotton is soft and absorbent. The sizes of the bath, hand, and wash towels are a perfect size. I don't like the oversized bath towels and these are standard size towels that I have always preferred. The color is a blush pink that looks beautiful in my black and white master bath. Despite the misleading description, the towel set is still a 5 star rating. The value is exceptional for a really nice quality bath set. I am very impressed at the quality.

They aren’t super heavy or too thin and the bath towel is a good weight to use after shampooing without weighing your head down. Organic cotton absorbs water better than synthetic blends and my preference. These are a reasonably priced set and I am happy with the soft way they feel, plus there is no noticeable odor from the dye. I ordered Taupe to go with the natural stone in our bathroom and it is a neutral shade that coordinates well.

The towels are standard size and quality, nothing particularly good or bad about it. The thickness, absorbency, and softness is on par with other towels in similar budget towel set. The best analogy is that these towels feel like those from 3 to 4 stars hotel, it's better than the budget motel towel, but noy as thick and big as the fancier hotels. The problem with set is that it is a bit over priced at over $28, when many other towel sets of similar quality can be found for under $20 on Amazon. I don't know what organic cotton has anything to do with towels, but perhaps the extra cost is because of that. So unless organic cotton is important to you for whatever reason, I'm not sure it's worth the price difference.

These towels are soft and feel great on the skin. I love that they’re made from 100% organic cotton. And the set has everything you need: two big bath towels, two hand towels, and two washcloths. The stitching is done well, and the fabric doesn't feel super thin and cheap like some towels can feel. They’re really absorbent, and so far they haven't faded after washing. I’ve thrown them in the washer and dryer a few times, and they still look new. The towels are comfy, durable, and eco-friendly!

This is your basic standard set of towels. It is not a luxury or plush set. This is exactly what I was looking for. I have enough plush towels, but they end up taking excess space in our linen closets. These towels are durable and wash very well. No worries about loose threads and unraveling of edges. They are also sufficiently soft and absorbent. This towel set has met my expectations, and II couldn’t ask for anything more.
