I am very pleased with this cashbox from the Amazon Basics Store. The metal feels rather durable and it can hold a good amount of cash. There are a couple of minor limitations to this product, which may be considerations for you and your intended use but do not hinder me and my intended use in anyway. Please keep in mind that this is a cashbox, not a safe; it is great to store and organize your cash but it is not the best solution for securing it. There is a small key lock, but someone could easily walk away with the box and the lock wouldn't be super difficult to pick. With that in mind, you will want to keep a very close eye on this cashbox if you are using it for flea markets, garage sales, festival booth sales, etc. As long as you are mindful of this limitation, it is pretty great! You will want to keep the box level in order to prevent the coins from jumping slots. If you tilt the box, coins can easily move out of the top tray. At least the bills get a little tension spring to help them stay in place as you move the box. For my purposes, this is not a disqualifier; I am simply storing my cash at home. If you are using this for flea markets or festival booth sales, that may be a consideration. ... show more

Love the improvements! Now you can open it enough to be able to allow the metal springs on the cash to fully open and stay open instead of snapping back down.
