Brass brushes can vary widely in the quality of their construction. I have found these to be as good or better than any others I’ve tried. The bristles don’t seem to deform as easily as most others.

Was looking for very stiff brush but these was a bit let down and similar to what I had been using from the dollar store thats at a faction of the price. already wear all 3 out for what I had to use it for.
