I was reaching my wits end with lightening power cables. The originals fall apart fairly quickly. And new ones from Apple are not cheap. So, I've any number of cables that were guaranteed to be Apple certified. But all have failed, and always after the period of time you have to return. I was in a bind and decided to try these. I've been very happy with them. I'm not getting any alerts telling they are not compatible with my device. And they just feel sturdy. The insulation does not seem to be that wimpy stuff Apple puts out. I have some old appliances and tools in the basement and attic somewhere that are from the 50's, 60's and 70's and the cords on all of them are just fine. And you can see electric fans from the 1930's at garage sales and antique shops with their original cords. Why can't Apple make one that will last six months with use? I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to anyone. ... show more

It works, works well and is durable. Don’t have the quality feel and flexibility of Anker but then again I was trying to save money. I got all the quality for less money just not the flexibility. Fair enough.

This cord is thicker than the standard charging cable that comes with Apple products, making it a much more durable product. I do have a cable protector on it where there is a lot of bending, but I think it is still a better option than Apple chargers.
