These are soft, well pigmented towels, and they are a great value; however, they shed like no other towel I have ever purchased. If the towels weren't such a great deal otherwise, I'd give them only 3 stars. The fuzz/shedding is, by far, the worst I've ever seen or experienced with any linens of any sort. I have washed these 4-5 times already, and they still leave black fuzz everywhere. I hope they aren't like that forever, but at this point, I'm afraid they will be. Especially noteworthy is, if you use contacts, you will find it impossible to dry your hands with these and then put in contacts without getting fuzz in your eyes... I mean, the fuzz gets and sticks everywhere, but in your eyes is especially problematic. I can't say I'd recommend these towels, even though I'm giving them 4 stars, because I think the level of shedding with these towels is enough to deter me from recommending them. ... show more

I was really impressed with the quality of these wash cloths considering that the price was so reasonable. They are a little bit larger than what I think of as a standard size, but that’s good. The fact that they are black allows my husband to use them in the shop and for me to wash them without worrying about stain removal I will definitely buy these again when I need them. ... show more

Prior to buying these towels, I purchased some Amazon basic wash clothes which are heavenly - very thick, soft and wash well. I tried to get bath and hand towels to go with, but they were not available at the time. When I saw this set I jumped at the chance to buy them. Lo and behold, they are not the same quality. They are absorbent, but not very soft and are of average thickness. I use them, but am disappointed they weren’t like the wash clothes. They are as the name says, basic. ... show more

It does fade. I have to wash with darks. I like the actual towels. But when I dry off with then there is black fuzz in my shower. Dont like that. But doesn’t leave on my skin. Which I find strange. Thank you

Simple, white hand towels. Good quality. Pleased with this purchase. Washed them before use & no sign of poor quality. Well made. Love the white so that I can bleach them.
