You need strong lights in order for the stars to shine bright the tape works well on smooth surfaces so if you have popcorn ceiling overall it works great with occasional stars that fall off

Stars are all the same size and there are a lot of them (100 pieces). It also came with 2 sheets of adhesive mini squares to attach the stars. After installing a handful of these into a bathroom, those closest to the shower fell off after about 48 hours even though they weren't right next to it. The stars farthest away are still affixed. I have not been impressed with the brightness of these when the lights go out, but admittedly my bathroom lights aren't the brightest. ... show more

These were perfect! So bright and colorful, easy to stick to the ceiling. They do require lots of bright daylight or bulbs to charge them, they were perfect for our daughters room!
