On Christmas day I spent about 20 minutes with my 9 year old son. Every time he hit the ball it made a dimple in the bat. I was standing about 15 feet from him and he never hit the ball past me. No home run slugs, just light contact with a real baseball. The 13 ounce bat is super light weight, but I have no clue what it can be used for. Maybe the bat would survive a weak piñata at the 4 year old birthday party. Maybe you could put the candy in the bat...that would be an exciting shake-up. Maybe home defense you can break the bat around someone and then stab them with the left overs. ... show more
