The media could not be loaded. I’ve received the black bat 3 weeks ago and I would like to share with you my review. The baseball bat is perfect for self defense and I keep it next to my bed. The reason I ordered it is that someone intruded into my garage illegally a month ago when I was sleeping. It's the right size and lightweight aluminum bat for emergencies, perfect for me and my wife. Easy to handle. Grip feels good in the hands. Seems sturdy and capable of giving a rough swipe. I bought this bat for protection since I don't like guns. It exceeded my expectation in quality and lightweightness. It can still do some serious damage to an intruder in spite of the weight. The length is perfect for my hands and the feel is confortable. I hope I never have to use it, but I feel good about the protection it will provide.

On Christmas day I spent about 20 minutes with my 9 year old son. Every time he hit the ball it made a dimple in the bat. I was standing about 15 feet from him and he never hit the ball past me. No home run slugs, just light contact with a real baseball. The 13 ounce bat is super light weight, but I have no clue what it can be used for. Maybe the bat would survive a weak piñata at the 4 year old birthday party. Maybe you could put the candy in the bat...that would be an exciting shake-up. Maybe home defense you can break the bat around someone and then stab them with the left overs.

This light weight bat, with it's durability, is a value for money. When you can get it on a lightning deal. I must admit, it's no flashlight, a table it is not. Though if someone throws ball shaped items at you, or if ball shaped items are precariously balanced atop a stand before you... you could hit them. You could hit them HARD, hurling them far away. I do not, I REPEAT, DO NOT use this as a pillow, it is not comfortable, in the least.
