So I admit that I probably don't take care of myself as much as I should *and I am fat too because I didn't care enough about myself, love myself and try to fix my issues and ate my feelings* In the past year I have changed my entire routine. Chemical free daily and nightly face routine, clean eating, water drinking, rucking/exercising/HIIT/Cardio FREAK! 40lbs down baby! And with that I was using this crappy old shoes I had from like 6 years ago. I ended up getting this gnarly weird "bump" on the bottom of my foot and realized I needed new shoes. I was due. I deserve it. I researched a ton of brands and types of shoes. I do a lot *and I mean A LOT* of rucking which is walking or marathon jogging, I love it. As I mentioned I also do HIIT and Cardio and Calisthenics. I need something with good support, a good thick sole that is movable, breathable and feels comfy. I got these on the Prime Try Before You Buy program and uh,. I LOVE EM. They look kinda goofy at first because hello, if you have ONLY worn reg shoes they LOOK goofy haha. But they look goofier on the floor than like on your feets so don't just judge them off the rip, give them a chance. A couple of things I would like to PRAISE and one complaint haha. 1- Goofy Shoe aka FootShape Fit: These are goofy but bro if you think about it, our toes our not level all the way across. Honestly I never like... thought about this BUT IT MAKES SENSE! LOL. Why are we buying shoes that aren't even shaped to our toes? LIke.. HELLO?! Anyway these make your toes fit really good in the shoe. The shoe fits perfect for me, it looks good, and I like it. 2- The Colors: Okay so the colors are kinda lacking here. Not a ton of options and the options that are available are nothing like their images. I got the Asphalt and Cream. Dude. If I can be honest for a second, I REALLY HATE PINK, I'm just not a pink girl at all *BLUE FTW* I got these and they are an almost DARK navy blue (which I like) and the soles are cream. The laces on the other hand... are pink. Light light salmon pink but pink. No issue really, I can just switch the laces to cream but like... it's just annoying because the image makes them look CREAM so just be 100% hyper aware, everyone in the reviews are not color blind haha we are being honest! 3- Price: Okay so originally I bought 4 pairs of crappy shoes on sale for $60 at Walmart. I am ashamed don't shame me lmao. This time I thought I would do under $100 these hit right at $75 and are a perfect cost for what you get. These are cheaper now than they have been in the past 30 days so grab em up! 4- Material: The material on these feels really good, really quality, and really strong. I see some of these people in the reviews literally putting their shoes through the Gauntlet From Hell and then being upset they got ruined. Uh. Duh. I will mostly be using these indoors. No mud no rain no dirt for me until i lose another 30lbs. 5- Fit: These worked really well for me, however, if you wear THICK socks it probably won't. I have different socks so I tried thin, thick and thicker. Thicker or even thick is a no go. Thick is doable but only for a few hours. Thin is the way to go. These ain't no Nike or Adidas "tennis shoes" these are made to wear exercise, running or walking shoes. Over all I am super happy. Thank you for making a good shoe, at a good price, for me.

I got my first pair of Altras after a friend told me that they were one of the best shoes for trail running. I was very impressed with how light and comfortable they are, it was Love at first try. I am completely in love with them. Unfortunately, after 60 miles of running -in about 3 weeks- they started tearing -see pic. I am unsure if I walk or run in a way that can cause the tearing or if the terrain where I regularly run is too rough...but seems to be a little too fast for the shoes to be tearing... regardless, i highly recommend them for comfort and if you like to feel the terrain under your feet... I am getting my second pair soon. 🏃♀️ I hope the company can reinforce the seam where the fabrics meet, so they can last a little longer. - they run small so I recommend to size half up!

This is my second pair of Altras and I cannot understand why all shoes aren't made to a wide toe-box. These are vastly more comfortable than even my Hokas, which I have been living in for work for the last few years as I am on my feet a lot. The Altras are still new so I can't speak to how they'll hold up, but initial impression is good!

I went up a half size from my standard shoe size to the recommendation of many commenters. I tried training in these shoes for a solid month but my toes were jamming against the front of the shoe and caused significant discomfort. I thought they would break in but continued to have this problem. I finally went up another half size (now a full size from my regular) and problem is completely solved, and they do not feel too big. I love these shoes now that I have the correct fitting ones!

Very comfortable, fit around my foot and my toes have all kinds of room! And the cushioning is wonderful. These are going to be my dog walking, hiking, bike riding, all kinds of activities shoes.

I was looking for a flexible running shoe and failing, until I found this model of shoe at my local outdoor store. This is a nicely flexible, wide shoe and my feet feel great while I am wearing it. It gives my feet and toes a chance to flex more while I am walking, which seems to keep my feet from hurting at the end of the day. I normally wear a size 8 women's wide ( and an 8 in Keen's) but I did size up to an 8.5 after trying them in the store. The 8 fit, but quite snugly. I wanted a more relaxed fit. I ordered a pair from Amazon so I would have an extra pair. It looks like the new model is a Superior 6, and I wanted to make sure I had a backup pair of the Superior 5s. Just FYI I normally wear a Blundstone size 5.5 in the Australian/UK sizing.

This is my first pair of zero drop shoes! I’m sold on Altra shoes now! The wide box is nice and they seem well made! I put around 11,000 to 14,000 steps a day on my shoes! I’ve had them for two months now and, they are going strong! The tongue is sewn on one side and that’s a good thing for me! I ordered a half size up to help accommodate an orthotic I have to wear! These shoes came with a stone guard as well as the normal insole!
