Love them just needed a half size bigger, I use them for work and I am in the operating room standing for long periods of time and running around all day. I just push my foot back in the shoes and tie tight.

I was fitted for the Altra Torin 6 in an upscale running shoe store. They fit perfectly but I ended up buying a pair of Hoka’s instead. I saw the Torin 5’s at a slightly reduced price on Amazon and decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, they run smaller than the 6 version and the tongue is very stiff and irritates my ankle. I wore them outside so I can’t return them. Disappointed because I really was hoping that these would be a good shoe for me. Update- I’ve included a picture on the sore that developed on my ankle after wearing these shoes for one full day. ... show more

I love altras! However I have only wore them 3 days at work and part of the bottom is already coming off and I’m so sad because of the price! What can I do!? The return period has passed by 3 days! Just my luck.

I like the wide toebox and the shape for the large toe. However, I did not size up because the ad said they ran true to size and there was no need to do that. I wish I had gone up a whole size! The other thing I don’t like about the shoe is the tongue. It’s made of a very stiff material and it cuts into your ankle if you wear short socks. ... show more
