These are super comfy, wide, and spacious. Look great, breathe well. I like the heel cup support.

  • Overall a Great Shoe, But Don't Recommend if You Will Wear Indoors
Size: 10.5 Color: Mineral Blue
Overall this is a very comfortable shoe with a soft upper, excellent cushioning, and unparalleled comfort. The only problem is the poorly designed outsole which could be a no-go for some people. Pros: -Luxurious comfort -Excellent fit -Perfect blend of cushion and what Altra is known for with its wide toe box and zero drop -Fun Styles -Quick Shipping Cons: -The only con I have with this shoe is the perforated outsole. It is incredibly grippy, but this also makes it very loud when you are running and it picks up and holds onto every pebble, pine needle, and piece of grass you run over. For me this was a deal breaker because I wear my shoes inside and out, and when you bring them inside after that then they scratch floors and leave debris behind. If you only wear them outside, this is the shoe for you. For me, I went with the Altra Torin which I feel had all the same excellent features but with a better designed outsole. ... show more

  • Lesser medial support than Provision 4/5 but longer, wider toe box
Size: 9.5 Color: Orange/Black
Update: After 3 weeks of use I am increasing my rating from 4* to 5, and also bought a second pair in a different color and was immediately able to go out and do a 7 miler in the new shoe. My issues with lower medial support than the Provision 4 and 5 remain, but the Provision 7 is slightly longer and has a more comfortable toe box. The 5 gave my a small corn on my left little toe and I hope running in the 7 will eliminate that. I have gotten used to the 7, it is a "normal" running shoe without the medial side laces pull up gimmick of the 4 and 5, and I hope the 8 will stay the course. Re: value for money there is nothing like being able to buy 2 pairs of shoes for the price of 1. Original review: I am an Altra Provision user from the 2.5 on, and have had the 2.5, 3, 4 and 5. The Provision 7 has an updated and narrow heel counter and I prefer this grippy feel to the loose heel counters on the 4/5. However, the last has been updated to remove footbed support from the arch areas and the medial support guiderail is now much weaker. The 4/5 were great to run on crowned roads and on turns but one has to be more careful and run more neutral. The 4/5 combined the medial guiderail with a lacing system that had the inside eyelets tied to the medial side and we are now back to a more conventional lacing system. On the positive, the laces are longer compared to the 5. So for me the jury's out on the Provision 7 since I haven't done any long tired runs yet where runner efficiency and awareness drop and the shoe needs to step up. FYI the complaint that I have on the lack of medial support is the same one that reviewer Big Reader 33 has noted. The guiderail is not the same as on the Provision 5. ... show more

  • My favorite shoe and at a great price
Size: 10 Color: Sand
love them so much I had to buy another pair a week later...great price and they came quickly. Never owned a "zero drop" running shoe before and it was a game changer for this fat flat footed runner....I pr'd my 5 and 10K times by over a minute both on my last race with this shoe.....not saying it's the shoe, but the last thing I worried about on the race was my feet in fact I didnt think about them at all and focus of form and pace and getting up that next hill....before while I was pretty good, but the balls of my feet start to hurt after 2 miles the the tops of my feet....not with this shoes...and let me be clear...these work for me...I cannot and will not speak for others....but I will say I'm not alone.....do some research on them and heck if you're a runner youre crazy anyway and have tons of shoes so buy and try a pair of these...if you dont like them then use them for weightlifting, they are a extremely stable shoe...they're at a great price (well for me it was great)....good luck everybody!! -Chris ... show more

  • Excellent Running Shoe πŸ‘Ÿ
Size: 8.5 Color: Gray/Yellow
The media could not be loaded. I bought this shoe for daily running πŸƒβ™‚οΈ. I have bought other Altra shoes, Hoka, New Balance and Saucony, as well as Topo. YES, I only bought wide shoes since I really care about my feet health. I DON'T WANT BUNIONS, or weird foot problems and get foot surgery later - It's painful, expensive, and annoying πŸ˜‘ πŸ˜’ surgery to avoid. Keep your feet healthy, and you can live a long life too. As a weekly runner, Ultra Provision 7 has bit more cushion in the back heel and slightly lower cushion the in the front. I do like the ego foam and very balanced while running uphill and downhill. Check out the video πŸ“Ή and photos. The shoe color is extremely satisfying 😌 πŸ‘ πŸ‘Œ. The Grey, light green and yellow combination color makes the shoe very attractive. IT'S A UNIQUE color. Hope you enjoyed the short review, and if you found the review helpful, please gives thumbs up πŸ‘. HOPE you all πŸƒβ™‚οΈ πŸƒβ™€οΈ runners have a safe run and keep your feet healthy 😊! Have a great run! ... show more

  • Small instep
Size: 11.5 Color: Dark Gray
The white width of the toe box was great. Unfortunately I had to return it as it had a very narrow in step. My instep is average and not large but the shoe was constructed very oddly.
