This is my third pair of Allbirds. They are comfortable right out of the box and even fit my narrow feet (with no show socks.) I bought a different brand recently...no significant issues...but I came back to Allbirds for the comfort, fit and the fact that I can wash them easily. They're my go-to. If you have any questions, reach out to the company and they'll help determine the best size. I've found their customer service to be very good.

I’m always looking for cute, comfortable shoes as I walk a lot (city, park, shopping, work, etc.) and I have intermittent plantar fasciitis pain. For house cleaning, yardwork, cooking, etc., these are great: they’re lightweight, flexible, have OK arch support and cushioning. But I wore them for a long, brisk walk on city streets recently and my feet were killing me, almost from the get. I didn’t get blisters, but I had to keep asking my friends to slow down a bit as my shoes just didn’t have enough cushioning. They are cute, though, and I will continue to wear them for everything other than long distance walks.

I got the recommendation by a rheumatoid arthritis support page, and while not having the disease itself I can now see why so many people suggested the brand. I ordered an 8.5 because I knew they ran small. The 8.5 was like a size 7. Unbelievable. This is the only shoe I’ve ever had this problem with. I’ve had a pair of these but it took 3 tries to get the right fit. Not worth my time.

I've given these shoes five stars because I own three pairs! As I'm packing for an upcoming trip to Thailand and Indonesia, they will be the sport walking shoes I bring because they are lightweight, breathable and comfortable. I wear them with a thin shoe liner. It's also great that they are water resistant (if you don't wash them too many times) and washable. Believe me, when I went to New Orleans and walked those grimy streets, I was very happy about that!
