I bought a different brand recently...no significant issues...but I came back to Allbirds for the comfort, fit and the fact that I can wash them easily. They're my go-to.     • Not as comfortable for walking, but OK around the house.
I’m always looking for cute, comfortable shoes as I walk a lot (city, park, shopping, work, etc.) and I have intermittent plantar fasciitis pain. For house cleaning, yardwork, cooking, etc., these are great: they’re lightweight, flexible, have OK arch support and cushioning. But I wore them for a long, brisk walk on city streets recently and my feet were killing me, almost from the get. I didn’t get blisters, but I had to keep asking my friends to slow down a bit as my shoes just didn’t have enough cushioning. I ordered an 8.5 because I knew they ran small. The 8.5 was like a size 7. Unbelievable. This is the only shoe I’ve ever had this problem with. I’ve had a pair of these but it took 3 tries to get the right fit. Not worth my time.

As I'm packing for an upcoming trip to Thailand and Indonesia, they will be the sport walking shoes I bring because they are lightweight, breathable and comfortable. I wear them with a thin shoe liner. It's also great that they are water resistant (if you don't wash them too many times) and washable.
