I installed these on a trainer bike that sees a lot of sweaty hands. I don’t wear gloves either. So far it is holding up well. To me, it’s nicer than foam as that is too thick because a wide aero bar becomes wider with foam tape. This has the right amount of thickness. I really like the texture. It has somewhat of a high end matte leather car interior feel to it. It’s grippy but has a smoothness to it. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a 50 dollar set of supacaz tape because that’s just insane. My first impression of this handlebar tape is excellent. Right out of the box, it feels durable and tacky to the touch. It was very easy to install and felt comfortably cushy on the bars. Time will tell if it holds up. I am planning to rewrap my other bike with this tape. Very pleased so far.

This is nice tape. Based on a few rides seems comfortable and durable. Only negative (very small) is that the tape is not as pictured with the little dimples. Mine is flat without dimples.

If you don't need high end tape or always wear gloves, this is a great deal! The feel is good and it's easy to apply. There's plenty of tape to wrap the bars and the stretchy tape to apply to the ends doesn't slide or bunch up. Depending on how thick you like your tape, this may seem very slightly on the thick side, but how you wrap your bars can fix this if you find it to be an issue ... show more

Great grip, nice thickness, looks good. Buuuuut, it’s way too short. I have 42cm bars, and it didn’t even come close to the length I needed.

I like Alien Pros bar tape and have used it on most of my bikes. This red tape has a good color and nice feel. It is nicely padded; just enough for comfort but no too spongy. I will continue to buy Alien Pros bar tape.
