  • Great beginner book!
Really great book - use it all the time. It's written in a fun easy way to follow. Great for beginner bass players!

  • A little too basic
Very basic. If you have any musical training you might want something more advanced. The muscle memory of the exercises is good.

  • Did not have accompanying CD
Did not have the cd which is referred to often in the book. Also seems that you know notation. Totally useless. I returned and bought The Complete Idiot's Guide to Playing Bass - which has the cd, assumes you know nothing and takes everything in small steps - Perfect for a beginner like me. Don't buy the Alfred's Basic Bass Method. ... show more
