The last pair of ice skates I owned were the pair my parents bought for me once my feet stopped growing. They were your standard figure skates and they did the trick but my feet felt like they had been in a vice by the time I was done. Fast forward 20 years with the same skate, our kids are old enough to want to ice skate often and I thought I deserved a new pair of skates - and they HAD to be comfortable. I love to roller blade and these are a similar build so for anyone looking for a sleek fit- these will not fit that bill. They are a bit bulky like roller blades but they are LIKE A DREAM to skate in!!!! We went skating 10 times this winter and I can't wait to pick it back up next winter! ... show more

Love these! Hurt my ankle badly, but still excited to try again after injury heals. Took a bit to figure them out, but once I did I fell in love.
