This is a lovely dress. The color is a rich eggplant/burgundy. The lace is not really stiff or scratchy. The fit seemed true to size, except I found the built in bra cups a bit large but I could have adjusted that. I unfortunately had to return the dress because I could not zip it up by myself. I'm flexible enough to reach most zippers in the back of clothing but this zipper is very slim and hard to reach and to grasp. For those of us who can't always count on having another pair of hands in the house when we are getting dressed or undressed - this is a deal breaker. ... show more

This dress is so pretty, but it is impossible to wear with a bra. It definitely requires a strapless bra, which is a huge NO for this mom. The liner has these flimsy, built in cups that just add to the misery. (And what mother of the bride is going braless to a wedding?) Returning.

I purchased this dress for our grandson's outdoor October wedding. It ended up being 80 degrees that day, but I was comfortable . The dress is very well made; fully lined with fitted botice that's so well constructed that you don't need a bra.
