I ordered many dresses from Amazon for my son's wedding. I found that the Alex Evening fit me well, I was ordering size 16 and 16P if floor length. Other companies didn't seem to have 16P in their dresses. I first ordered this in the rose/pink color in 16 but didn't like color on me. Then I couldn't only get the periwinkle int he 16P but that felt too short. I ended up with a 16 in Periwinkle from Dillards. The dress was very comfortable, I didn't have any issues with the raised fabric irritating my underarm and I received lots of compliments. I am 5'3" and 195lbs. ... show more

Cute dress. I ordered other colors of this dress and it seems they are not all the same. The lining in this dress didn't protect from the sequins so they were constantly scratching me. I ended up returning it for another color. The other color feels nice (no sequins scratching through the liner). So maybe I'd I had worn a slip it would have been fine. Also- this dress slips right on over the head... it's stretchy enough that you won't need to mess with the zipper. ... show more

I love this dress! I purchased it to wear at my daughter's June wedding. I wanted something that was special occasion but not too fancy. This dress fits the bill. The color (periwinkle) is beautiful -- the picture really doesn't do it justice. The fabric is quality without being too heavy. The fit is perfect, true to size. I bought this dress to wear at my son’s wedding. Arrived in time. I am 5’10” w/ 36C and ordered a 10 reg. It fits well and my husband says it looks good. The rosette detail seems a little smashed. Will take it to dry cleaner and see if that helps. Overall I am pleased.
