I’m 185 and 5’5”. The larger felt more comfortable, sine I’ll be wearing to a wedding and reception which will be 9 hours.I’m the mother of the groom and wanted comfy, knee length with a little sparkle as to let the bride have her day to shine. I liked the fit of Alex Evenings' size 18 regular. My measurements are 46-40-46, 5'3", but dresses are rarely available in petite size 18. Fabric is comfortable. Dress is lined. I would want to remove the sequins from the edge of the armhole. I can't write about durability because I returned it. Mocha dress pictured is from a different style (short V-neck cap sleeve sequin sheath). The style that I received matches the description (short floral embroidered sheath) and the fabric is a mocha-colored version of the peacock floral sequin pattern--a pretty pattern that helps disguise body "imperfections." ... show more
