I've no idea why it says this has flutter sleeves since it does not have sleeves- it's really a sleeveless dress, which is ok with me. I like that it fits- I seem to be a 14W, a 16 or an 18 in Alex dresses- and I never know which it will be. This 14W fits as if someone hand made it for me. I'm a 42C bust and 5'9"- and a pear- so I like the fuller skirt. The length just brushes the top of my ballet flats. If you are shorter than I am you'll need heels- or you will have to hem the dress. The bodice is fitted and does not gap at all- also no weird puckers, which I've found on some other dresses I tried. The skirt is loose and attractively draped so it is very flattering in the midsection. I bought this for formal nights on cruises, but it would be great as a mother of the bride dress. The color is an attractive mid-blue. The details are sewn on well and it seems well constructed.

Before purchasing, I asked the question if dress had padded/shelf bra. I received two varied answers. I actually even called manufacturer and was told this style did not. Received dress today, and for it DOES have padded cups. For anyone else wondering...they add no support, they are just floating and all they do is add bulk which I find unnecessary and unflattering. The dress is pretty, but is not worth taking to tailor to remove pads and then find out other work would have to be done as a result. I am not about to attempt myself. I will most likely return this unfortunately.

The dress was as described. It was slightly too large, so had to be returned. I did have to be very careful on the zipper due to sequins etc. the length was perfect for me and I am 5’6.

Love this dress! Elegant and flattering fit that minimized my thick waistline. I was looking for a cool, lightweight dress with a slit for my son’s July wedding. This one hit the mark! I only sent this back because I ordered two and kept the one that was the lighter color.
