The cowl on the back of the dress is really pretty, and is something different from the many other dresses I tried. It fit true to size, and there is a little bit of sparkle on the top. I am only 5'2", and it looked pretty good on me, but would have looked better if I was taller. Pretty color but although I ordered the size I normally do (18) it gapped oddly at the bust and under the arms. I'm a 42 inch bust- but I just couldn't quite fill this out. I was very happy with the style of this dress. Too many dresses are loaded with lace, sequins, or beads. This dress had just the right amount for me and fit very well. My only problem was that the first dress I ordered had the cowl back sewn unevenly which made my bra strap show on one side. I returned the first dress and ordered a second one which fit perfectly. Because I am 5 ft tall, it will need a lot of fabric removed from the bottom of the dress when it's hemmed. I am very happy with the dress. ... show more

My mother purchased this for her mother of the bride dress. She absolutely loved it. The color is not super vibrant, but still more of a Royal blue than a navy. She is about 5โ€™3 and 140 lbs, cup size is a B I believe, and the 6P fit her very well. As it shows on the model this dress does not fully touch the floor. My mom plans to wear shorter heels for the wedding than shown on the model so it is not as far off the ground. I donโ€™t have a picture of the back on her, but the cowl back is adorable and just as shown. This dress is well made and very classy, perfect for the more modern mother of the bride (as opposed to the traditional dress/coat combo you often see). Would also be a gorgeous dress for bridesmaids. Good style for any shape, will most likely need to be worn with seamless panties and shape wear though. The only complaint my mother had was that the dress came in a bag that was ripped and torn, but the dress was still perfect. ... show more
