The dress arrived on time on a hanger inside a plastic bag to protect it from water damage. It looks just like the picture, color-wise, and seems to be well made. All the seams appear to be secure, no loose threads, and the invisible zipper on back works well. I ordered a size 10. I'm 5/1, 145 lbs. size 38 B cup, and both dress and jacket fit me very well-not too snug or loose anywhere. I'm very happy with the fit. I will have to take the bottom hem up about 2-3 inches, but I expected that. The jacket has a hoop and loop closure at the front top, and the slit on skirt comes up to my kneecap. It's a polyester fabric, (it reminds me of the polyester faux Dry-fit mens t-shirt material...) and it will snag easily if you are not careful, but overall it looks nice and the fabric weight falls nicely without bunching up, and it will suit the purpose of wearing it for a wedding. I'm pleased for the price and only having to alter the hem. I could probably hem it up to my knees after the wedding and make it a cocktail dress for the future.

I ordered this to wear to a formal banquet. Since I didn't have much time, I read the reviews and crossed my fingers that this would fit - no time for alterations! First, I'm 5'7, 140 lbs with a 36B bust. I normally wear about a size 8 and the size 8 in this dress fit like a dream. The bust was not too big and the skirt of the dress draped beautifully across my frame. The gathers are lovely and the slit, while not my favorite, isn't *too* terribly high. The dress looks beautiful both with and without the bolero jacket. Lastly, it hangs to the top of my feet, giving me the option of either wearing a high heel like the model or taking it easy and wearing a lower heel for comfort. If you are much shorter than 5'6 or 5'7, you may find that this dress is a bit too long without wearing a 3+ inch heel. My only teensy criticism, aside from the slit (which is solely a matter of personal taste), is that there are two seams on the innermost panel of fabric covering the chest/stomach. This shows through the top gathered piece and makes it appear as though the dress has boning or that I'm wearing a seamed garment beneath. It's not terribly noticeable, but it is something to be aware of. Not taking off stars because of it, though.

I tried this dress on a department store--they only had 1 size and it was too small. Unfortunately, the one I purchased at Amazon was too large in the chest/bodice and still too snug in the skirt over hips and stomach. I really wanted this dress to work, but obviously it just doesn't with my body type. So bummed, I really loved this dress--unique color, ruffled slit (out of character for me but part of the reason I was drawn to the dress), just enough sparkle. Sadly, I am returning it. A word about packaging--it was quite disappointing. Delivered in a ziploc type bag that had a huge slit (about 7") on the underneath side. When I picked the package up from the front step, the slit presented itself when I turned the package over, and some skirt fabric was hanging out of it! Luckily, nothing was damaged. This should have been delivered in AT LEAST a padded envelope if not a box.

The dress is beautiful! It is very flattering and comfortable (stretchy & true to size). I wore this all day at my son's wedding and received many compliments. The tag said not to iron, but I was able to iron on a cooler setting with no problems. As far as the glitter, I shook it outside and then sprayed hairspray on the glitter parts of the dress, and this helped it not flake off. Loved this dress!

This dress is lovely and a size 10 fit me perfectly (I am 5 ft 6 and weight 163lbs) wearing a Spanx undergarment. I wanted it to work so much but glitter is everywhere! Both the jacket and the dress are shedding it! It was suggested that I run it through the dryer and possibly hand wash but I can't take the chance I'll be shedding glitter on all the guests I hug as mother of the bride. It was on my neck and face as well as all over the kitchen floor which I had to vac twice to remove. This dress is so worth the money and so pretty. The smoke color is sort of a deep gray with a hint of blue. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for all that glitter.

I am very pleased with this dress. I bought it to wear to a evening event and it did not disappoint. The dress is very flattering. I am short and curvy and it looks very elegant on me. I paired it with some black heels for a formalish event and got tons of compliments. This is the second dress that I’ve gotten from this manufacturer, and I’ve loved both of them. Overall, the dress is well-made, and quite comfortable. My only real complaint is that the jacket sheds a lot of glitter. Hopefully that will diminish some over time.

I adore this dress. I got the size 18- I'm a 42 chest and probably and 18 pant (depending on the brand). I am 5 foot 9 inches- and the dress is the perfect length- if you are shorter, you might need to hem it. I have a broad butt- and this is so slimming!!!! I think this must be a great dress for pear shaped women. I can slip the dress over my head without unzipping it (handy, right?) and it conforms perfectly to my chest and the little jacket is ADORABLE!!!! I am just thrilled. I'm taking it on a cruise and I can't wait to wear it.
