At 5'9" I have trouble finding sweatpants that fit at all much less ones that give that oversized look. These are actually long enough for me, hurrah! I'm actually a L but got XXL to be sure they'd fit and the waist is fine for that- it's many inches too big but the drawstring cinches it up fine, no weird folds, still lays smooth. One star off because the fabric's not the nicest. A bit scratchy. I have a feeling it will pill. And because they're not super flattering to the booty. It's the wide waistband- hides the top part of the butt so the profile doesn't look right. But they're pretty good for the price.

I’d rate these sweatpants at a 9 out of 10. The fit is just perfect on me (a rare occurrence on Amazon) but they are super long. I’m just under 5’5” and will need to find someone to hem them for me. Otherwise, they would be just perfect. You can wear them as athleisure, for travel or dress them up with a sequin top or sweater for a night out. I’m tempted to buy more in different colors.

**Update 10.26.23** I decided to keep these because they are comfortable, have pockets and are cute. The rise is short but I decided I was ok with wearing them a little lower on my waist. These pants are a comfortable soft fabric. The rise is very short to the point that I tried them on pulled lower to my waist. The other issue is the length. I am 5’6 and 165 lbs and these pants barely touch the top of my foot. I would be very concerned about washing and possible shrinkage. I want to love these but I will have to let them go.

These are the cutest pants! The material is just heavy enough to hang well and not show pantylines, but not so heavy to make them hot. The seam down the front makes them look so neat. You can dress them up or down. The waist is nice and high (no fupa) and the wide elastic waistband with drawstring snatches the waist. Do not wrinkle easily. For some reason I sized up, and I’m glad I did. They’re perfect!
