Since I broke my foot last year and have had two surgeries to repair it I am very cautious with what I put on it. I have tried every shoe out there going so far as to even wear a man's steel-toed work boot because my surgeon said she wants me in a stiff-sole shoe. BUT these are incredible and so CUTE! They come in tons of colors and fun patterns. They are nursing shoes and are very supportive and have very stiff-soles. They have a soft leather inside with a great arch support that doesn't interfere with the break site on my foot. The outside is a type of plastic or vinyl so they are great in the rain and wash up nicely. You just can't damage these shoes! AND the soft leather insides keep your foot from sweating. I tried the very expensive walking shoes (the brand starts with a K) and they weren't nearly as comfortable and they cost $140! These shoes were on sale for $49 here. BUY these shoes!

I have been wearing Alegria for my nursing role for years now. These are a different style than I generally wear so I was apprehensive. Initially they were snug across the top of the foot, but I have a high instep. I used a shoe stretcher (wooden) to try to loosed just that top part. One night with that in it did the trick. They are comfortable and perfect for my 12 hour job. I gave 4 stars for comfort because I've never had to do that with an Alegria shoe. One other thing: I only wear leather because the fake stuff just doesn't stretch to the foot like leather does. I also have a "hot foot" so they breathe so much better. Alegria, PLEASE go back to more leather shoes.

I’m partial to the Alegria brand of shoes. I wore out my last pair because I had them on all the time. They have great arch support & are stylish shoes. Usually they run true to size but with this pair I had to go up a size.

I've only had these shoes for maybe a month now, but I really like them. The picture of the skulls is not as evident as I would have liked, but it is still a cool picture. Other reviewers have mentioned that the picture wears off after some time, but I have yet to notice this. As a matter of fact, I have even rubbed the shoes together to see if the pictures start rubbing off quickly. They don't. I'm sure they will look worn eventually, but I imagine they will last for a while. The shoe is comfortable. Not like a tennis shoe, but my feet aren't killing me at the end of a 12 hour shift. The top of the shoe is a little tight, but it stretches a little, so it is not as bad as other shoes I have worn. I feel very sturdy wearing these on slick floors too. The base is wide enough to provide plenty of support without being so wide as to look goofy. Overall, I am very satisfied with these shoes. I will certainly buy more in the future.

I bought these shoes on a recommendation from a coworker. I have only had them for 3 months as of today. It took a month to break them in and after that I can still feel my toes touching the front of the shoes. Then just this morning I noticed that my left shoe is coming apart from the sole. I only work 3 days a week and only wear them at work. And the designs on the shoes are smudged and fading. I was tempted to buy another pair in a wide until I saw the sole separating from the shoe. What’s worse is I bought them on sale for $60 and the regular price for them are over $100. I am made unpaid what I did for this to happen and if I had paid more I would be even more upset.

I love how comfortable they are! I can work for hours on my feet with no pain! However…the coloring comes off very easily. Within a week. They start to wear down very quickly too, on the soles and inside. I keep buying them because it’s the only shoe where I can work a shift at the er and not have pain. But I wish they were more durable. 7 months in and their soles are coming apart. No warranty though. Tried to contact the seller but over 30 days and I guess it’s not something they will deal with. I’ve had shoes last years. So 7 months is very sad especially for the price. So do your pros and cons when buying.
