I love these shoes. Cute and very comfortable. I bought them in my regular size of 9.5. They are a tad wide for me but the Mary Jane style keeps them on and I don’t have slipping. The white color is beautiful and the tooling on the leather is so amazingly cute.

I am very pleased with my new Alegria white shoes. I purchased them for use in the LDS Temple. They are wonderful and have helped my back ache. They are also very pretty.

A little background information before I launch into my review...I am a teacher and on my feet all day. I am constantly searching for comfortable shoes. My mother saw Allegria shoes on QVC. These shoes have build-in orthotics, so while they are a little more money, they are supposed to be extra supportive. Thankfully, Amazon had these for much cheaper, and thanks to its great return policy, we decided to give them a shot. These shoes are made in Europe, so they come in European sizes. Unfortunately, I can only see the listing in US sizes, so I ordered this pair in a 7 - it turned out to be a 37 in EU sizes. (My mom ordered an 8, which turned out to be a 38). These shoes are VERY lightweight, even though they look like they would be bulky. When on your feet, they feel almost like Styrofoam, but in a good way. When first put these shoes on, my toes seemed 'snug' but not tight or uncomfortable. I've had shoes that have been too small and crushed my toes - not so with these shoes. I think the weird feeling came from the orthotics. I just wasn't used to the feeling of being supported. I wore them for a few days at work, and last Monday, I wore them for 12 hours - after school, to a dentist appointment, and then to dinner. NOT ONE BIT OF PAIN. They were comfortable all day, I felt absolutely zero discomfort. It solidified my decision: these shoes were awesome! On top of all of this, the design of the shoe is adorable. The maryjane-style shoes are a black iridescent material, almost like dragon scales. These are also Velcro, so it makes for convenience. Also - these shoes were wide on me. I have a slightly narrow foot, and usually run 7 to 7.5 in US sizes. You can see that these shoes run a bit wide, however. If you're on your feet all day like me...Give these shoes a shot!

The media could not be loaded. I'm reviewing Alegria Kourtney Shoes, Women's Embloom White, size 38. I wear a women's 8-8.5 and these seem right in between an 8 and 8 1/2 shoe. The construction seems pretty solid. The top is faux leather. I wish it were more flexible. If I move my toes up against the top, they feel pretty hard from the inside, but, there is some flexibility which accommodates the wide part of my foot. The insole is the best part of the shoe. They top is suede-like so they'd be comfortable with bare feet, but they're roomy enough to wear with socks (not too thick socks). There is plenty of room for my toes and my high arches. The insole is soft with good arch support and an excellent contour. The back of the shoe on the inside slightly cushioned for a very nice feel. The hook and loop closure stays firmly closed but isn't too hard to pull open. The bottom sole is slightly textured but is not rubbery at all, giving it mediocre traction and they make a little "tap" when walking on a hard floor. They do not squeak. The strap is what's keeping these shoes on; without it, they'd slide off my heel. They look very much like nurse shoes with good support that isn't very squishy. I haven't worn them yet besides trying them on. I'm not sure yet if I'll keep them. The insole is the best thing about these.

I have very picky feet. These shoes were amazing from day 1. My feet didn't hurt, and my back and leg pain was less. However, after only a couple weeks, the fabric on the front of the shoe wore off. (I got the black embossed ones.) This doesn't look good at all! I do wear them almost every day for my work shoes, but I still didn't expect that much wear. I tried hiding it with a paint marker, and that worked until the spots got bigger. I bought these shoes about 4 months ago and I'm already looking to replace them. I'm going with the same pair of shoes again - because once I find some that make my feet happy I stick with them! - but I'm looking at some with a different material that will hopefully not wear off as easily! Fingers crossed!

The outside of the shoe is great and lasts, however the insoles are not supportive and my feet hurt badly starting in the middle of flights as a Flight Attendant. There’s no arch support so all the weight goes to my heel and my heel has been getting sharp stabbing pains. Even while wearing compression socks my feet are achy. I would not recommend these. I even bought additional insoles with extra arch support, of Algeria’s and they are the same. They hurt so much. Update: bought more insoles, Dr. Scholls- still having pain so it’s the actual shoes causing it. The company who sells these Walking Comfort would not even respond to messaging about returns. Which was very disappointing. Won’t purchase from them again.
