    • Strong alcohol scent... disappointed.
I was SO excited to love this fragrance. I love coffee smells and gourmand smells in general, but upon opening and testing this fragrance both on a paper testing strip and skin alike, all I can detect is a strong, coffee liquor smell. It so strongly smells of a sharp, alcohol scent that actually it felt as though it was burning my throat when smelling. While letting it sit on the skin does reveal a tad more of a coffee/powdery smell, the alcohol scent is unbearable and headache inducing and I had to wash my wrists shortly after application. I've smelled other Al-Rehab fragrances and none of them have this sort of overwhelming alcohol scent, so I'm not sure what went wrong with this particular scent. While the price point is very good and the sillage/longevity of this fragrance is done well, unfortunately none of these positive qualities can outperform the underwhelming and outright nauseating alcohol scent I received.     • Good for the money
The scent is actually quite nice, especially for the money. The scent does not last long but it's hard to complain about things like that when it is so cheap to get your hands on. Just one of those things to keep in your car for an emergency in my opinion.

It smells like delicious caramel you'd get from an actual candy shop. It also has a slight smokiness/burning smell? I'm guessing that is supposed to be the coffee notes. I've never had french coffee so I can't say whether this smells like it. Very pungent sweet, very strong.

The media could not be loaded. My first impression of this French coffee perfume was mixed. The opening notes were harsh, with an unpleasantly rotten and bitter scent. Fortunately, it's not overpoweringly strong, which is a small consolation. As the day went on, the scent transformed, but even in the dry down phase, it retained an ancient, almost musty aroma. I usually enjoy fragrances that others perceive as "older and musky" btw! However, the perfume does eventually evolve into a more pleasant scent. After some time, it settled into a gourmand black coffee with cream fragrance. At this point, it becomes a skin scent, not projecting much beyond a close radius. Curiously, when I asked my dad to sniff my wrist during this stage, he initially thought it smelled like pancakes. After I mentioned it was a coffee fragrance, he could identify it, describing it as a very sweet coffee with milk—delicious in his opinion, he likes milk in fragrance and in general. Personally, I'm not a fan of the sharp and unpleasant opening. I prefer my perfumes to smell good right from the start. I'm hoping that with time, as the perfume sits and macerates, the initial harshness will mellow out, the overall experience will improve and the yummy dry down will project more.     • Smells awful
I gave it stars because it does smell like coffee and I guess some ppl like it but it smells exactly like you spilled a whole thing of circle k coffee on yourself and it dried on your clothes. lol very gross smell. I used it as a room spray to see if maybe the coffee aroma in the home would fit better and my daughter who’s laying in bed, she is 13. Starting covering her nose with her shirt and said, “ what is that smell!” Right after my 5 yr old son came in and instantly started covering his nose lol it really had me laughing. But no one even my little 5 yr old could stand the smell. But it really does smell exactly like the circle k coffee with French vanilla in it & it’s not pleasant as a spray. I was nervous at first at buying the perfume after reading the reviews and being told that it wouldn’t have a good scent. But I bought it anyways and toke the risk and I love it!! It’s so good, genuinely you’ll smell like French vanilla coffee for hours, and I have already gotten numerous compliments already. If you love the scent of coffee, you’ll love this perfume. The scent last for a long time and for your money it’s definitely worth it. It’s easy to use, just use two or three sprays and you’ll be good to go for the next 6-7 hours. ... show more

Strong, authentic like a fresh brewed pot of dark roast. Aromatic as it dries down to a creamy, delicious coffee and caramel blend! Great for anytime but especially Fall and Winter!! Great for layering too! Highly recommended!
