These are super easy to install, just plug them into the existing connectors. They seem to work very well, I haven't had any issues. Definitely added a nice something to the truck. Update: After about 5 months of semi-regular use the resistor went out on the left one. Not a huge deal, as I just installed an external resistor.

They look great and were easy to install. But the left one stopped working after 3 weeks. I found that the solder connections had broken on the circuit board and had to have an electrician friend re-solder them

So we got these because we’ve purchased from AKKON before and never had a issue. Well after putting them in after a few days they stopped working and blew a fuse. My husband changed the fuse and it just kept blowing fuses. He took it apart and had to solder a few wires, well then it worked for a couple days then did the same again. Took it apart and soldered more wires. A week goes by and did it again. So now he’s re soldering all of it. They stacked the resistors which is also making it hot and blowing fuses. Well before we decided to fix the problem the first time we reached out multiple times to AKKON and let me tell you customer service was a joke. We just needed one replaced at first and they wanted me to hook it back up to show them the issue which I told them no because it could screw up my truck since it just kept blowing fuses and getting hot. So then I tried to get a label to return them and after fighting with them for multiple days never got one. My husband decided to fix them himself and when he finally did they sent me a return label. We just decided to keep and fix it ourselves. So moral of the story if your not good with electrical work and don’t want to put on new resistors and solder then I suggest DO NOT BUY! They look good on our truck but it’s been too much of a hassle dealing with them not working

I was looking for a led tail light for my 2011 Silverado LT that was close to the OEM look. These are the closest I found. They are plug and play but a bit tricky to install. The bottom part of the OEM harness plugs into the top of the light. This can be challenging as you will need to get under the truck to get more slack for the harness. If you are not mechanically inclined it may be tough for you. The top part of the OEM harness plugs into the middle of the light and the middle OEM harness (reverse lights) plug into the bottom of the light. They work perfectly. No hyper flash and the sequential turn signal looks good. The “C” light when the lights are on look good also. The clips on the light that the screws go into can get loose. Time will tell if they will last and if the moisture and rain will stay out.... EDIT TO REVIEW DATED 4/19/2020: Well, after having these installed for about 3 weeks, I notices my turn signal indicator on the dash started rapidly flashing when in use. Upon investigation, I realized that the LED turn signal indicators on the lights were hyper flashing. I reached out to seller. We shall see if they respond.

The media could not be loaded. As I read these reviews, I realized I had the same issues hyper flash, reverse lights staying on, and then I watched this video the part I have recorded and after reinstalling, I have no hyper flash and all my lights work as designed to as of right now we will see how long the capacitor will last, I’ll be sure to add to my review in a couple months
