Inaccurate> a balaclava is used while running, but the goggles suffer from fogging when the outside temperature is below freezing. Wiping the lenses with a microfiber cloth resolves the issue, but the lenses fog over again relatively quickly. I am not a ski pro, and it's been a while since I've skied, but wanted some better-than-rental goggles for the experience. I checked out reviews and prices of these goggles and went with (3) Vlt 12% White Frame/Revo Red Lens, and (1) with black frame for the family. I was pleasantly surprised both by the customer service and the quality of the goggles. The visibility was fantastic, no fogging, good comfort, and kept my face warm. The box is quality, and it comes with a soft cloth carrying bag that I used to clean the goggles. I gave them 5 stars with the caveat that I've never tried world class $100-$400 goggles, but 4 pairs of goggles at this prices can't be beat! These were great for our Sapporo ski trip, with some blizzard like conditions - would highly recommend these to friends. ... show more

These goggles have all the features you need! They have a double layer lens with air between, which helps reduce fogging, and the vision is clear with no distortion. The strap extension is enough to comfortably fit over a helmet OR under, and the strap has non-slip rubber along the full length, so it won't slip off of your helmet. The foam seal is thick, and the part that touches your face has a soft lining, which is more comfortable and probably more durable than foam directly on skin. I'm an average sized woman and the goggles fit my face just fine. There are several large air vents on top and bottom covered with thin foam, and a few small uncovered vents on the bottom. I'll add more info about fogging up after I get a chance to use them. Overall, these are awesome goggles! I would definitely recommend them. ... show more

For the price these are excellent goggles. I purchased the black frame with yellow lens. I use them on cloudy days. The clarity is great, and I don't have any problems with fogging. I'm one of those people that can't stand when my vision is distorted and I don't have any issues with these. I also can't stand scratches or other blemishes in my goggles or sunglasses. That makes these a great purchase, b/c if they ever do get scratched, at least I didn't spend much on them. One season down and still no scratches. I wear them with a GIRO helmet and either with or without a thin or medium balaclava. Highly recommend for the ratio of quality to price. ... show more

I got these goggles for my first season snowboarding and they definitely did the job! I haven't tried any more expensive brands to compare, but I also don't feel the need to because I got all the features I needed in these goggles. They didn't fog up on me (I boarded 5 times this past season and used them every time), they protected my eyes from the sun, and they gripped really well to my helmet so I was never worried about them slipping off. They were also easy to adjust. I tried on my boyfriend's more expensive goggles and these were just as comfortable as those ones! As I mentioned before, I don't have many other goggles to compare these to, but I see these lasting me for more seasons to come. Part of me wishes I got a pair with a black band instead of white but even with all of the tumbling I have done as I learned how to snowboard, they still look nice and clean! ... show more

I purchased these for my husband and he loved them. He said they were truly distortion free and did not fog. They fit snuggly, but not uncomfortably. Unfortunately, my husband took a pretty bad spill on the slopes face first - the goggles survived no worse for the wear (I can't say the same for two of his ribs). The microfiber pouch that comes with the goggles is a nice convenience. When needed, I will not hesitate to buy another pair of these goggles. ... show more
