Wonderful shirt! Just ordered 2 more in blue and apricot. Wore in New Orleans over tank top in 99 degree humid weather this past Labor Day weekend. Was worried I might be hot—I was not! My base layer tank top was wicking material and the loose quality of this unbuttoned blouse provided sufficient sun coverage wo being clingy. Description indicates 100% cotton. Not your soft wrinkly cotton, if so. Mildly stiff—wears/feels more like a light weight and lightly starched poplin. Crisp. Very few wrinkles after unpacking and riding in a car. Sleeves stay sharply folded up onto forearm without issue. Unbuttoned 2 button ls down—no cleavage showing and the collar does not rub your neck or chin collecting foundation. Buttoned all the way up w collar jewelry over top button—not tight at all and still crisp. Can be dressed up or down—work day to New Orleans day. The price is beyond reasonable. I absolutely love these shirts! I have 5 and would have more if the sizing was the same for all the colors and stripe patterns. Sizing is hit or miss according to (I think) the width of the stripes? There appears to be a difference in the wide stripe and the pin stripe. The fabric is fabulous, feels and looks expensive. Washes like a dream and comes out of the dryer crisp and wrinkle free with no shrinkage! I'd give it 5 stars if not for the sizing problem. Some of the shirts I have gotten fit exactly like the size chart on the listing and some do not. I've had to send half of the shirts back because they were huge while others fit perfectly. Based upon the reviews I sized down one size and got a medium. The fit was fine except the sleeves were a little narrow. The sleeves at the top of the shoulders drop down and it was blousy in the back (between the shoulder blades and low back). The fabric was pretty but stiff. In the care instructions it says hand wash, line dry and iron on low setting. That was more than I really wanted to do so I’m sending it back. Love the color and pin stripe. ... show more

Size: X-Large Color: Striped Watermelon Red
I am impressed that the pocket was placed so that the stripes are perfectly lined up with the fabric beneath -- that is good tailoring. The fabric itself is crisp; the content is 80% cotton/20% polyester. It does not have that polyester sheen but is stiffer and holds its shape better than 100% cotton. I sized up just as a precaution and I'm glad that I did -- the size larger fits me quite well. One caution: I found the sleeves to be about an inch too short. I am 5'9" with proportional arms. The shirt pressses up nicely. I got the "watermelon" color, which is very pretty and quite summery looking. as for the cost-- can't beat it. I'm not generally a fan of fast fashion, but I make an exception for seasonal items that will be warshed a lot. I'll get a lot of wear from this until it is time to switch to sweaters. ... show more
