Very comfortable indeed. I recently had surgery, and have had to wear absorbent underwear for a few weeks while recovering, and these stretched enough to fit over the absorbent briefs and hold them in place without any problem. I'll be buying more as my older boxers wear out.

If you are looking for a softer cooling pair of underwear, these are your best bet. I bought some Duluth Armachillo underwear and they were great but far too expensive (3 times the price of these!). These are the same silky material but so much cheaper. After placing my first order, I ordered a second and then a third. I threw away my other old cotton jockey underwear. I'll never go back.

The very first time my husband used them, he couldn't stop raving about the comfort, after 3 decades together, I've never heard him be this happy about an underwear purchase. Then I mistakenly washed them in hot water and they shrank. READ THE DIRECTIONS! It is specifically stated on the garment to machine wash cold and drip dry. When it comes to sanitizing underwear this is a bit of a problem for me because I believe HOT WATER should be used. Also I believe bleach products might destroy the bamboo fabric so I don't use bleach and add vinegar to the soap dispenser. So yes the handling of this type of underwear is a bit more tedious but if you are super happy with the comfort then it's worth it.

My husband is a fan of the really soft modal boxer briefs from Calvin Klein but those can get pricey if you're trying to replace several pairs so I decided to have him try these Airike ones. I've never heard of this brand, but frankly who cares if it's comfy and well made?! These are so comfortable and SOFT that he said he doesn't even notice them. My husband had zero problems with them riding up or getting weirdly out of shape. You get 6 pairs (3 colors, 2 pairs of each color and the pics they have are accurate) and getting this is definitely better than getting only 1 pair of CK IMO. These are just as soft as the CK Modal and they seem well made. A couple of washer/dryer cycles in and no stray threads or anything so I'm thinking my husband will get some good use from these. I plan on buying him more!

I have ordered these in the past. They are extremely comfortable. Matter of fact, I switched up just because of the cost. Big mistake and I went ahead and brought more of these. The phrase “You pay for what you get!” Is the truth. Get them, you won’t regret it.

So... these are probably the most comfortable underoos that I've found in a very long time. Light. Breezy. Suze appropriate. All around comfortable. Why the middle ground on the stars, right? They're inconsistent in their construction/material/durability. I will have one pair out of the pack that lasts a long time... several months to maybe a year. Then another pair will rip a giant hole right in the crotch right after putting them on. Less than a minute. Same size as the others. Same fit. Same me. Same pack. This happens more often than not. I'm buying a new pack of these probably once a month or every other month at least. The ones that last are great little soldiers, but again, you never know when they're going to blow out. Within 30 seconds, a month, 6 months, or a year. But... they're so comfortable and I've yet to find a suitable replacement in the necessary size... so... until then, I will keep re-purchasing.
