They are really easy to put on and attach. They look nice and I like the adhesive it uses. It has a nice bright light. You cannot change the colors manually on this one, but that is fine. Quick note, about a week of use and a single blue LED already died, but after a lot of RGB color changing I suppose. The magnets are amazing however, I didn't need any tape screws or anything it just stuck to my case right where I needed them to go. For the price of the LED strips its perfect to try out for a quick way to light up your case, the cables included definitely help for future lighting options too ... show more

Or you can save 100 or 2 and add these little beauties. It's cool that you can stick them to things if you want to or (and this is what I chose) you can just use the no mess magnets built into the strips. Now my no RGB GPU is flashing all over the place lol and it syncs with my MSI system.

20 days later 3 LED have lost some of their blue brightness for some reason. I have the strips distributed throughout the case with their backing tape in tact, just using the magnet to secure it. All strips are set to static purple via openRGB. I noticed yesterday 3 in this strip werent as bright. upon fiddling with it, I realized the red and green channels are ok, but for some reason the blue for these 3 LED are not. I tried addressing directly to the LED, and it is the same. it is a shame as for this price and for the features it has, it is a really good set. last time I did any lighting in a case I was soldering leds and resistors myself, so this was a dream to me. I have ordered a replacement/exchange, hopefully this was just a one-off defect. ... show more

    • Works as advertised, but you get what you pay for

Pros Really affordable, and performs as desired. The magnets worked surprisingly well in my case and the lights were all working as expected. No dead LEDs or anything like that. I got these in order to have some simple 12v RGB lights to plug into my ASUS board's RGB headers. I had tried addressable LED strips from airgoo, but the problem with those is that the iCUE software that I'm using to control all of my system lights uses a plug-in for ASUS motherboards that doesn't yet support addressable strips. These worked fine with the ROG Crosshair VII Hero motherboard and the latest version of iCUE as of this writing (3.33.246). The included extension cord was sufficient to get all three strips mounted where I wanted them with decent cable management. Cons Man, the build quality sucks. The connections for the RGB header, the individual strips 4-pin connector and the extension connector are really loose and don't snap/clip together at all. A slight breeze can disconnect these things, so you might want to tape the connections together once you get everything plugged up. This is probably only a problem if you plan to be in and out of your case a lot, or will be moving the case around often. Time will tell. Another problem is the wires are extremely thin, so be careful while routing them through your system. Don't carelessly pull them across metal edges, through backplate holes, etc. I was being pretty careful and still somehow managed to shave a centimeter off of the side of one of the three connectors on the main cable. This revealed the metal wire underneath, which is bad when you've got these things plugged into a $200 motherboard in a case with several metallic parts. Fortunately I was able to fix it up with a little electrical tape. As the title says, you get what you pay for! These wires and connectors are not sturdy at all. Overall, these are a good value. For what I wanted, I'm happy paying $19 for these vs. $60-$70 for the name brand equivalent that requires a hub. However, if you want firm connections and high build quality, you'll want to spring for the pricier kits from one of the big brands. ... show more

I put these in a mini ITX case (Fractal Terra) and with the 2 included in this kit, it just wasn't bright enough. There's a decent color range, but I wanted something brighter.
