    • Didn't work right to begin with

I thought this looked like a great airbrush to use for my sugar cookies. I was really disappointed in it. The directions were easy to follow and it went together very easily. However, it did not work correctly from the beginning. I have used other air brushes so I am aware of how they should work. When I turned the power on there was air that started coming out from the tip of the pen. I wondered if there was a problem with the handle, but moving it back and forward didn't change the air at all, it was as if it was constantly in the on position. So when I would add the color to the holder, it would immediately spray out and that was horrible, making a mess to begin with. I tool the pen apart to see if I could see what the problem was, but I couldn't find anything that would fix it. The colors that came with it offered a good variety, but there was leakage and I needed to shake them before using, so that made a mess as well. I did like the fact that the motor had 3 different settings, but once again, where I couldn't stop the airflow, that was really of no benefit. I liked the carrying case and all of the accessories and I was greatly disappointed that it did not work like it was supposed to, so I ended up returning this for a refund and I purchased a different kind. There were some stencils that came with the product, but they were not ones that I would ever use, (buildings, cityscape). I was also glad to have the cleaning reservoir although the cleaner that came with it was extremely small. I did like how the pen holder was attached to the pump so that you could rest the pen when not in use. This kit does have some nice features, but where it didn't work, I just was very disappointed. ... show more

I love that it has a case to keep it in. The airbrush is not variable...it has 3 speeds. It workd just fine, but the glass pot to cleanthe airbrush into arrived broken. The only option I git was to send the whole system back, and I don't want to as I did use the airbrush before I took the glass pot out and saw that it was broken. ... show more

I have not used this yet but I gave this a 4 because for an expensive set (I bought 2 sets), the first set that arrived had some discoloration on the bag. One of the inks spilled. I am trying to find a way to contact the seller - I dont want to return it cause its more hectic to do so from where I live but wondering if they could either replace or issue some kind of credit.... The case is sturdy and impressive. All of the colors were there, packed carefully and none spilled. I was intimidated to even try this, but it is easy!! After reading reviews, I hesitated to buy it, but I didn't have ANY of the issues complained about. The airbrush pen is steady, the instructions are clear and it is easy to clean! I practically covered my room in plastic to try this after reading peoples experiences. It was easy to control, not messy and fun!!!! My fish tank has louder equipment than the compressor. I don't know what the reviewers bought because this is a wonderful product!! ... show more

Love the machine, but wish I would have bought machine only, because the spray paint have proven to be very disappointing. Some colors from paint are not strong enough to be seen on cookies. White was especially weak.
