UPDATE: giving 4 stars from 2 for the sellers customer service! They reached out to make things right! I hope they update the hooks on this harness because it held up better than the others. The harness itself is fine, but I realized too late that these have the hook loops for the leash both on ONE side of the buckle! There should be one on each side to prevent escape should the Velcro come undone. The buckle is also made to be extremely loose across the top, you cannot tighten it enough to lay flat. I bought an almost identical harness with a proper clasp to replace this one. My dog can easily escape from this and I missed the return window on the larger size up I purchased as well. ... show more

I really like this harness, perfectly fitted for my dog who admittedly has a very awkward build with a thick neck and wider chest. However it fits him perfectly with little room to spare. Pros: very comfy fit and the dog doesn't slip out of it. Even in the heat we've had lately, it works well. Seems to be well made and will last. Like the way it attaches to the leash. Cons: Seems to run a little large. Ordered the small for our 11 lb. Yorkie, and it's a little big. Have to overlap the velcro fasteners farther than we should. Also, when you do this, the velcro fasteners push against the leash connector strap, which may cause that part to wear out prematurely. ... show more

I bought this for my 2.5lb yorkie puppy. Knowing smalls usually fit my 9lb pom, and xs not seeming small enough in the store. I would say that she will most likely grow into it - and that I was able to get a proper one at only one of the two Animarts in my city. She almost needs a kitty harness of sorts. Yes, I measured my dogs. The small fit my 10 pound Pom with about 1/3 of the Velcro fastened. The large did not fit my 23 pound rat terrier. I gave it to a neighbor with a little round dog and it fits her perfectly🤗 Easy on and off. Pretty nice material. I didn’t realize they came with leashes, so that was a nice bonus. ... show more
