It’s great! BUT, note that the cat’s image is very vaguely visible when the mug is cold, which, if noticed, may dampen the surprise the first time it’s used. Also note that the “exquisite packaging” is pretty romantic… which for me would have been a problem if I had it delivered directly to my new tenant as, what I intended to be a nice welcoming gift. … and what are the truncated words in small print on the package, actually saying? (I couldn’t figure it out). Also no instructions included, so all the guidelines listed on Amazon (no dishwasher or microwave, etc) would not be seen by a gift recipient! ... show more

This was a gift for my mom's birthday! She loves cats and she loved the cup. It had a tiny chip in it; Amazon replaced it right away. It was awesome to see her face as the cat appeared! Priceless!! She didn't care about the chip. I cared though so that's why I asked to return it.
