I've recently gotten back into motorcycle riding. Previously I'd pay top dollar for Arai and Shoei helmets, those helmets are $1000 now. I was looking for value this time around, let's face it, what saves your head is the foam lining in the helmet. Any helmet is finished after 1 crash. Rule of thumb is to replace the helmet every 5 years, are you gonna do that with a $1000 helmet? Anyway, about this helmet: it's light but sturdy, it fits well - a little hard around the edges at first for me around the forehead but it's broken in and comfortable now after a few days; I love the integrated sun visor; I like the easy release chin strap. Negatives: the rubber breath shield kept falling out and I've lost it - I've contacted AHR and asked for a replacement; because of the nice quick release chin strap, there's no D-ring to lock into the bikes helmet lock (but I prefer the quick release). Overall - I like it so much I ordered 1 for my wife. ... show more

Not bad, for the price.. but there is better. Got 2x modular helmets, within the 65-75$ range. This is not bad. The visit an face an shield all open and close fine. It's very lite. IMHO, runs avtad bit small. I sometimes were a hoody underneath, or the full face, head mask, .in it's a bit snug. Also if you have alot of hair. I went by the chart An measured my head, and it said medium. An that's rite on. But as I mentioned bi like a bit of room. Also it feels a bit.. shallow, like it doesn't come down last the jaw far enuff. I got another brand helmet, starts with and I, also got a size bigger. An it was within 5$. And it's alot better. The ve it's, kinda junky. Not that I care since I just crack the visor anyway. The matte black looks ok. Untill you touch it with a greasy hand, or bugs get on it. The modular front does open an close well. And the visor that flips up an down works great. Probably best thing about it is the retracting visor and it's action. And the quick clip chin strap. It looks a bit funny, but over all. It's a helmet. And better then nothing. Good helper too keep as a spare, and really light too carry if your bringing a passenger. An they need a helmet. And it's good enuff too use around town, shortervtrips. Something too throw on, wear, don't haveta worry if you drop it. It stays on your head pretty well even with the face open, at lower speeds. If you just need a helmet to get started, or for someone riding easy, local it's good. But there are better. ... show more

This helmet has a solid look ,great features the built in sun visor is nice and the vents in top and bottom keeps from fogging up inside clear visor, for the money you can't beat it.

I loved this hood everything that I wanted and couldn't find on store. I needed somthing full face because I don't like the half hoods. I needed a visor with a dark shade and some vent holes this was alsome when driving. And the hood come up when you wanna stop and talk at a light or somthing. Its nice and sturdy. Work perfectly I kno I had it for a week an someone ran a stop sign and we laid the bike down I was thrown landed on my helmet thats the only thing that saved me from getting hurt bad. ... show more

First time ordering this helmet I feel like I got somebody else's return, it was to tight so I looked at the size and someone put a XL sticker over a Large sticker. It was scratched up and chipped. I returned it and the replacement took a cross country tour, before it finally came. The paint and finish isn't good, it's smudged and has drips on it. The whole assembly is very flemsy, Best thing on it is the visor. Don't cheap out on gear I ordered this because I had little money to spend and needed a helmet quickly. Great helmet. I wanted some protection going from no helmet to a surplus army helmet plastic liner. I have a custom fat tire ebike that goes 40mph and is decked out to look like a motorcycle with fairing headlight blinkers hand guards etc etc. I ride aggressively. My head measure 24inches across the brow and about 23 5/8 above the brow. It fits perfectly not to tight that it squeezes my head and is stable. I would say it will fit a slightly larger head maybe 1/4 to 3/8 without being to tight that it is uncomfortable. It is hard to breathe if you have some pedaling like on a ebike so I removed the lower chin seal and the cheek padding to hear better and keep cooler. It has 3 orange snaps under the padding. If operates great. Locking button to flip up and locking lever for the tinted visor. I removed the clear visor to see how it is done and it removes fairly easily but I would take care while doing it.
