Røde doesn't want to describe the issue, but to have you buy their own version of the cable — for which they want twice as much, although it appears not available for sale, and the nature of its "specialness" is nowhere described. Fortunately, this AGVEE 1.5ft USB-C to Lightning OTG DAC Adapter Cable seems to be doing the trick — now I can get a signal from the microphone to the iPhone. Just beginning to work with it. I don't expect to be disappointed based on my past satisfaction with the performance and durability of AGVEE cables, chargers, and adapters.     • Plug and play, easy to use!
I got this cable after I lost the cable my amplifier came with, and it works great! The cable is a bit on the thin side though, so make sure it isn't in a place where it can easily snag. Overall would recommend.

    • Works with Rode Videomic Go II and IPhone
Just like the title says. Works fine with the Rode VideoMic Go II on an iPhone 13 Pro. The Rode Connect app recognizes the mic and is able to update it. It’s good to have an option until Rode decides to make their SC15 cable more widely available.

    • Absolute garbage. Died in less than two months.
This cable is very deceptive. It looks like a sturdy cable, but it is not. I bought it on August 22nd, today is October 13 and it stopped working. My Qudelix 5K stopped playing music from the iPhone and went into Bluetooth pairing mode, which is what it does when you disconnect the cable from the phone. I was afraid my Qudelix 5K stopped working, but just in case, I connected it to my Mac using a USB-C to USB-C cable, and it works perfectly fine, so it's this piece of crap cable that probably has a faulty connection somewhere. I'm very careful with my things, I don't stretch cables or use things like disposable items like many people do. So this cable is very low quality, with the look of a high quality one.
