I bought this for an upscale Christmas party and it did not disappoint! The gold was flattering but I bought a size up because I did not want a bodycon dress and I wish I would have bought my normal size because it was right on. It is lightly lined but a little scratchy like the other reviewers said. Overall it didn't affect me though. It wore great.

My husband and I had our Valentine dinner date a few days early and I ordered three cocktail/party dresses to try on a whim as we were going to a fancy restaurant. I was not expecting this plus size bodycon dress to be the winner, but it was. I am 5’7” and weigh 250 lbs. I generally wear a 20 or 22 and a 2X or 3X depending on various factors. I got a 4X in this dress hoping it would skim over my body and not squeeze it anywhere. With some good shapewear underneath, I felt tucked in, smooth, and confident. Lengthwise, it hit just below my knee. The material was thin to average weight. (While long sleeve, it could not be considered a winter weight fabric.) There was no glitter shedding whatsoever either. I even washed AND DRIED it on my dryer’s extra low setting and that removed the slight packing wrinkles. The glitter didn’t feel unusually rough either. It was very fine in texture. (I remember a glittery prom dress from high school that rubbed my underarms raw because the glitter was so rough. This was nothing like that.) All in all, this dress is a winner across the board and I will certainly be on the lookout for more cool weather special occasions where I can wear it again. Size up and get this dress!

Pros: Glitter is pretty. Size is alil accurate. I love the length of the dress, right above my knees. Material also feel really good. The glitter stay on the dress and doesn't shred like other clothing does. Cons: The color doesn't really look like how the picture look. It's more blackish gold then fully gold. If you have big breast like me the design on the side was right underneath them so you couldn't really see it. Also if you have a pouch like me you will see the curves because this dress is snug on your body. So I would wear some type of girdle... Overall I might be returning it.

Bought this for my bachelorette party in green, and it’s very flattering. I’m 6’ and usually wear a 2X, close to a 1X sometimes. I went with a 3X based on measurements and It hugs my hourglass figure well, comes just below my knees, which makes the curves look even better. It’s a tiny bit scratchy, but definitely not bad. I’m buying more colors.
