I bought this back in May and used it three times. Sturdy weight, good hand feel. Then, Labor Day Weekend, I was bragging to my friends about how great it was, how it could collapse for easy travel, how it had changed my campfire game. I set it down on the edge of the fire ring and without prompting the tip fell off and into the fire, embarrassing and humiliating me. I can never show my face in this campground again and now I'm known as "good ol' no-tip." Three stars because it's still a good pokin' stick, but no longer a good pullin' stick.
