I'm a college-aged student aspiring to go into the USAF as an officer. I know one must take the AFOQT, so naturally, I was looking online for some cheap, but high-quality study guides. This one seemed promising, and I was surprised to find out that it was! The material is all very new to me, but I'm able to follow along quite well. It includes quite a few pictures where necessary, and it goes over any important key terms that you would need to know. My favorite part was learning about the different components of an aircraft and how to read the artificial horizon. It's really cool stuff! I haven't gotten through the entire book just yet, but from my experience so far, it's very promising and quite fun to read! I would highly recommend this to anyone else preparing for their AFOQT! ... show more

Used this to study for about 3 weeks. Scored high 90s for all sections(rated and non-rated) and have been selected to commission. This guide was very comprehensive in the sections, covering all materials on the exam. I give a tremendous credit to this guide and its authors for my future career.

Excellent prep book. Everything is well written and explained. As other reviews have mentioned, there are a few typos here and there like in any other book, but nothing so bad that it makes the material incomprehensible.

It has great information on all the subtests but I wish there was more than 1 set of practice tests. Also it has a typo on page 4 where it says you need a 15 on ABM and 10 on CSO for general commissioning requirements but you need a minimum of 15 on the verbal part and 10 on the quantitative part. And on page 139, the answer to the question "1. the author of this passage would most likely support...." should be C. not D., to match the Rationale. ... show more

Very comprehensive. Covers a tremendous amount of content. Make sure to dedicate a lot of time to it due to its volume.

Decent content but there are a lot of typos, missing information about time limits etc., and there isn't a complete representative practice exam

I brought this for my brother and he loves it. The study guide is concise, to the point and gives thorough information on what you need to know prior to taking the exam. The practice test is also helpful from what I was told. I was really worried about purchasing this for my brother as I wasn't very much aware of what would've been the best but as he is a visually orientated person, I decided to get this study guide in particular due to it's claim of having helpful graphics which it seems to deliver on. I'm happy that it seems to have really helped him to understand the exam better. I'm sure that he will meet his goals because of the work he has put in with the help of this guide.
