Bought this for my son, as we were spending Xmas in the Montana Rockies and it gets COLD there, not NY cold (damp), but below zero no less. He stayed warm all winter, plus wore it skiing, on the range, skeet competitions (winter outside). Do not recommend: I bought a size up so my son could wear it for more than one winter. It is nice and warm but the zipper is very poorly made and broke after less than 1 year. Bought February and it broke in December.

This is the second time I have bought this coat (my son grew out of the first one). He loves it and said it keeps him warm even when playing in the snow.

Warm jacket. Held up to our unusually cold and snowy winter. The pattern was not in your face, but much appreciated by a sixth grader. It dried well like other coats after playing in the snow, and it survived daily school use for the season.
