This review is for the black suede Cosmos in the medium width. This is a nice looking, comfortable shoe. Based on the reviews on this and other sites, I expected a much more generous fit. I don’t know if some of the other colors in this style run wider/longer than the black suede, but this is not an oversized shoe. I am normally a 7 1/2 in open toed shoes so I purchased that size, but worried that I should have sized down to 7. I’m glad that I didn’t order the size 7 because the 7 1/2 fits a little close in length. The crisscross straps over the toes are generous but not too roomy and the adjustable ankle straps are fine. I probably could get away with the length as the arch is in the correct position, but my heel and my toes are right up to the edge of the shoe. I’ve just ordered the size 8 so I can compare the two sizes. Luckily, Amazon has a generous return policy. UPDATE: The size 8’s arrived. The length was perfect but the toe straps and the ankle strap were too wide for a secure fit on a heeled shoe. I’m returning the 8’s and keeping the 7 1/2’s.

Why are these SO LOOSE? I did read reviews but figured if they were truly that loose I could still wear them with cushion inserts but that does defeat the purpose of spending $100 for shoes marketed for comfort. The ankle strap is at least an inch too big on the tightest setting. 3 stars because they are cute but unless you have gigantic ankles and swollen feet these will be loose.

These shoes are really comfortable. I didn't order a wide and thankfully so because they are loose towards the forefoot area. I have not worn them for my event but can't wait because I know I won't be worried about walking or dancing. I will be ordering another color.

These shoes are great! They look and feel wonderful especially if you need a wider shoe. The leather is buttery soft and the heel height is perfect for walking or standing in for a long period of time. I loved them so much, that I purchased them in black too.
