Does it look like Lucy Gray’s dress? Yes, from a distance. But the quality is extremely poor. The second I slid it on, I heard threads cracking and ripping—and that was before I even tried tightening anything. The fabric is super flimsy, and the “corset” is just decorative—it’s not made of any structured or supportive material. It honestly felt like it could fall apart with one wrong move. Even though I followed the size chart exactly and ordered my usual size (medium), this dress runs very, very, very small. There’s hardly any stretch to it, so I would strongly recommend sizing up—maybe even two sizes if you’re in between. The skirt length wasn’t bad (I’m on the shorter side), and I was able to adjust it a bit, but the white undershirt portion was super cropped—nowhere near hip-length like in the photos. Bottom line: while it gives the illusion of Lucy Gray’s style, the construction and materials are extremely cheap. If you’re expecting anything close to quality, you’ll be disappointed. ... show more

Originally ordered a small, but returned for a medium. If you’re between two sizes, I would air on the larger size! To look more “movie accurate”, hike up the skirt underneath the corset and steam the ruffles on the skirt.
