I was so nervous to try a dress for an event that I couldn't try on first (thank you reviewers! they helped). This dress is well made, and just stunning. It fit as expected. It did go to the floor - I am 5'8 and wore a small heel. The beading was a bit loose in places. Before I wear it again I will stitch some of it to make sure it stays (not unexpected with a beaded dress). Don't regret this purchase at all! ... show more

This is as beautiful as I hoped. I ordered down a size after reading the reviews, and the size 2 was a perfect fit it did need to be hemmed. I’m 5’5”, and I wore 2 1/2 inch heels. I took about 3 1/2 inches off, and I should have taken another half inch off (I didn’t take the carpet into account when it was hemmed). I hemmed it myself to save cost. The liner is easy. The dress is tulle. It doesn’t need to be sewn, but some good fabric glue is a good idea to tack down the bottom of the sequin rows of cut. ... show more
