I typically wear an 8 (snugly but comfortably) in AP and knew I needed to size up in this one because of the waistband… but the 10 was $300 and the 12 was $115, so 12 it was, LOL… and it fit wonderfully! Just a bit more room than I needed, though you can’t tell by looking at me when I’m wearing it, and I think the 10 might have been too snug in the waistband anyway. Some medium heels will keep it just barely skimming the floor on my 5’7”. It has already had a couple beads and sequins come loose, but I knew that would likely happen. This dress came to me damaged and smelling like laundry soap, so I am pretty confident that it was used which was a big bummer for such an expensive dress. Besides that, it is very beautiful, but doesn't fit me the way id like it to around the hips. I am wearing shapewear in the photo.

This one is great and elegant, it fits very well in the hip area but is a bit loose around the chest and shoulders. Colors is beautiful and neutral, and it compliments all skin colors. This dress had zero shape and no waistline. Was very disappointed - and the color was much closer to purple than the picture shows. This dress might look great on a full figure or a tall, thicker figure but if you are slim, have a waistline or are under 5’5” this is too much dress.
