Purchased 3 dresses from Amazon for daughters upcoming wedding in august and will keep this one. It is lightweight, stretchy and comfortable. The beading is lovely. The sleeves are lovely….not itchy at all. I am just under 140 lbs and 5’5”; purchased a size 8. I am having it hemmed probably 3” so that it hits just above my shoe. It is the only alteration needed. It is a straight forward hem to do as it is a-line. The lining can be machine hemmed and the mesh overlay will simply be cut and not stitched. The beading detail will not interfere, unlike the other 2 dresses where sequins and beads come all the way to the bottom, making for an expensive and challenging hemming job.
