It's a cute little wood crate the size of a shoe box. It has been given an artistically styled look of distress to mimic age. It's not an old work crate off a farm, or a warehouse; it's lightweight and cozier. It would probably not take a lot of undue force for this cute little box to be destroyed; it's only crafted as a thing of beauty, and is not utilitarian in design. It's about as rugged as balsa wood. I'd wanted this for awhile. It's the perfect size to hold a few important items in the living room that kept cluttering up the place (entertainment center remote, AC remote, battery charger, random things.) It's nice to have those things neatly out of the way in an attractive way. I think this would be nice for the farmhouse chic style, or in my case, "brutalism dystopia" (we're fairy cyberpunk orientated.) ... show more

This box is pretty cheap wood. But what I really has got me looking for an alternative in less than a week is that it’s NOT stained or distressed like the picture. It’s unfinished blonde wood, which is way less cute. Not worth the money to buy stain because I don’t think it’ll last long.

Brought to use as a gift basket. This things is so small it wouldn't hold much of anything. It is not deep enough to hold anything either. It may be 2 maybe 3 inches deep. Keep looking and don't waste your money with this. The price I paid for this junk is insane! I am returning!
