I bought this to organize my letter writing for our church prison ministry that I am involved in. It was VERY easy to assemble. It came with all the pieces that I needed to clue it and put it together. The backing on it is rather flimsy - but that is the way they make all backing to shelving these days - so I was use to that. After I put it together and started organizing my material, I realized I was going to need way more shelving space. Luckily there was twice as many holes to add twice as many shelves. I emailed the company requesting additional shelves. They sent them right out!! I was so thankful for that. I actually like the shelves better then the thin plastic shelves that the unit came with. The additional shelves were a bit sturdier made of a thick cardboard or pressed "wood". The unit is a bit heavy to move - I like that because I feel it will last a while. Great unit and great customer service!

This product was a good start for my classroom mailbox. The slots that divide the boxes are sturdy, but made out of cardboard like material. Next year I'm going to change that to a thinner wood. The back reinforcement is made out of cardboard which I will change to a thicker veneer or wood type back. The outer frame is sturdy and looks great . I love it and feel it was worth the price I paid.

This is a decent quality Literature Organizer. It looks nice in my office. Unfortunately, the delivery guy dropped it on the porch and broke the corner on 9 of the pieces. I was still able to assemble it. I covered the damage with duct tape. The weight of the item would make it too difficult to return. I only gave 4 stars because the shelves are not stationary. they shift about when you remove items. That makes the price point high for the quality of the product.

Easy to assemble. Looks nice enough on the outside. Don’t need instructions to assemble, the ones that come with it are generic and for multiple models anyway. The unit is very flimsy and wobbly. I will have to order reinforcements to stabilize it. The outer wood is acceptable enough but the shelves are useless. I’m only not returning it because it’s too much of a hassle to pack it back up. I wouldn’t buy it again in the first place. This from the description is false, “Ruggedly constructed, this accessory is made out of durable, medium-density fiberboard construction to supply long-lasting strength for years to come. The letter size compartments hold up to 15 pounds and adjust in 2.5" increments to meet all of your needs in the home, office or classroom.” Instead of the study looking cardboard shelves it comes with thin corrugated plastic shelves (like you would make a sign or poster on) so it might hold a few sheets of paper but I would not put any more on it. I’ve never had to write a review for anything on amazon this bad. I really just wish it was better. I would be satisfied if the description wasn’t false or if it came with actual usable shelves like the cardboard/fiberboard ones pictured. Very disappointing product. Oh, and for what showed up— very very overpriced. VERY OVERPRICED. Don’t order.

The first one arrived as an open box with half the material missing. Not sure if that falls on packaging or the carrier. The replacement arrived fine. This is not as good of quality as others I’ve ordered in this price range. Formica edge catches and peels easy. The holes for the pegs are mostly too big or too small, so the pegs either fall out or won’t go in at all.

I purchased this for my home office and am happy with the result. Putting it together was straight forward, there There was one point that was a little dicey, where I had to attach the top, the five vertical boards are standing up with only the bottom dowels holding them up. Getting the dowels to align with holes on the top took some pushing and pulling and nudges, but I finally got them all started without any of the boards falling over. In hind sight, I think it might have been easier to mount the dowels into the top first instead of the vertical boards. Also, there are 4 holes on the top of the top board which the instructions say to install dowels, but that makes no sense since the holes there don't go through and into the vertical boards beneath, so I didn't install those dowels, they would have just been sticking up in the air. All in all, I'm happy with the product and would recommend it.
