Immediately upon receiving these sneakers , I put them on, a little heavy but one of the best pair of sneakers I have ever owned. Prior to receiving them, I was having severe lower back pain almost continually, I felt my back was misaligned. I stayed in the sneakers for about 5 hrs and maybe because of such support and padding in the sneakers, I noticed a difference in my back pain. There was less back pain. I purchased the pink ones in size 10. Overall, they have great arch support and are very comfortable. My feet usually hurt a lot and I get worried about purchasing new shoes but after wearing them 2 days in a row, I felt no discomfort. I've had many many pairs of adidas, always white w black stripes different styles and these by far are my fave. Classic adidas, classic skater vibe. Much cuter than grand courts. As for the size, I wear 8.5 or 9 and based on reviews, I went with 8.5. they're a little bit too small (eventhough the European sizes on the chart say otherwise) but 9 would've been a lil bit too big so I'm good.
