These seem great so far. I know some people have stated theirs came in a plain, brown box with no tag and they suspect fakes. Mine came in the original, blue Adidas box, with manufacturer tag attached. I have no doubts these are authentic. They were pure, clean white, in pristine condition. I’m a size 8 in all closed toe shoes, athletic, flats, boots. I followed others’ advice and ordered half size down. Great decision. These are plenty big with lots of room left for socks. They seem really comfy, for the short time I’ve worn them at home. I’m really excited about trying these out with all kinds of outfits this fall. So far they look great with shorts and a skirt.

BEWARE... These are fakes!!! The serial numbers on the left and right shoe should be different and they are not. The perforations are supposed to go all the way through the leather and they do not. These are just a couple common signs of fakes and glad I caught them. Very disappointed!!! Returning ASAP!

These shoes are faux Adidas. They came in a brown box with no tags. The shoes have no adidas label on the tongue of the shoe indicating they are not actual Adidas.

Adidas have always been my favorite trainers, but I've not ordered them in YEARS. True to form, right out of the original box they fit and feel like "slippers". So comfortable and no "break-in" needed. I received mine from "ShopAKIRA". Totally original. I read that some people appear to be getting fakes. There are several ways to tell if the shoes you received are fake or not. I'll run over a few things here: 1) Look at the toe cap. There should be 6 dividing lines. On the bottom of the cap where the cap meets the "bezel" for lack of a better word, the "Xs" should be PERFECTLY aligned. 6 on the outer edges, 4 on the inner divisions. AGAIN, these should be PERFECTLY ALIGNED. 2) On the inside tongue of the shoe, the label on the originals is SEWN on - or glued in a way it will not easily come off and has the size chart for US, Europe, etc. The fakes will probably have a STICKER on the inside w/o this information. 3) On the sewn-in (glued) label on the tongue of the shoe, there is a serial number at the bottom. On the FAKE shoes, this number will match for both shoes. On the ORIGINALS it will be DIFFERENT for each shoe. 4) The fakes do NOT have the lace guide in the middle of the outer tongue of the shoe. 5) Look on the bottom of the shoe. On the tread, there will be an "adidas" stamped into the sole. The fakes will not have this. 6) Lift up the liner (insole liner). On the ORIGINALS there will be a BLUE base under the liner, repeatedly stamped with "adidas". The fakes will NOT. It will be white, gray, or some other color and composition. 7) The stiching on the outer shoe will be at angles and come to more or less a "point" near the ankle. On the fakes, the stitching is more of a "curve". "SUPERSTAR" and the outer tongue will be stamped/embossed in bright gold. You can feel the edges on the originals. 8) In the originals, the logo on the tongue and back of the shoe is EMBOSSED INTO THE LEATHER. On the fakes it is only stamped. 9) General workmanship will be comparatively shoddy. If they're real, they will feel wonderful on your feet. If not, check the other things I mentioned. There are also videos on Youtube for how to determine a fake. If you get a fake pair of Adidas or anything else from Amazon, return them IMMEDIATELY and make a complaint to Amazon.

I watched many videos on real vs fake and so I knew what to look out for and I included those pictures. I also went to a local footlocker and they did tell me you have to size down because they run really big. The Macy's website says the same thing. I wear a size 6 1/2 so I tried on a 5 1/2 and they fit perfect!! So I went ahead and ordered them from Amazon for $20 less. I hope this is helpful to those who want these sneakers and are a bit skeptical. I hope the pictures help!! I'm in love with them!!!

Noticable glue edges. Stains on the strips. Awful waste of 70 Bucks. Feel like they are a complete knock off and I'm never picky about this stuff. This were an ideal shoe until the arrived.

I am so blown away at the horrible reviews about these black and gold adidas shell toes sneakers. OMG they were exactly what the item listed said they were. It’s very strange that multiple people go out of their way to create false stories about great items that could potentially help a person in need of them. (Any item not just this one) I would like to say that when I saw the item listed (adidas shell toes) the size I wanted (9.5) popped up $54.99. I was a bit skeptical at the lower price. I had never seen any seller even amazon post these particular shoes at 54.99. I am certainly not complaining. I do have 100% faith that amazon is authentic because I am a frequent buyer of various items on amazon. I read reviews on every item I’ve ever bought. I was so close to not ordering these shoes because of a couple posted reviews did say that they got fakes that the serial numbers didn’t match, or that they were knock offs. I’m not sure why anyone would make these outlandish stories up except to manipulate others and or to get a refund but keep the badass sneakers? I’m still not sure. Anyway I love my adidas shell toes and remember good review or bad reviews do not always trust a review. I had to make this by the way to reach buyers that turned these down because of the multiple horrible reviews. I assure you everything is authentic.
